ANDLS V1.0 By Bounabi Mouad.
ANDLS acronym for Arduino Nfc Door Lock System is a DoItYourself door lock system based on Arduino, NFC technology, and a 9g servo-motorized arm controlling an ordinary door-barrel.
The main idea of the project is to offer a secure and easy way to open a door by using a RFID tag to authenticate a user.
The arduino check firstly the open permission with NFC shield and then save the name of the tag holder, and the access time in a database through arduino serial port.
I used the Mega2560 version of arduino, electro freaks NFC shield v1.6 as an nfc reader/writer, common nfc tags and a smartphone to unlock the door.
I’m working on a second version of the system, where an admin user can use a mobile app to visualise the collected data, do some analytics, and be aware of the door access in real time by push notifications.
